Wedding cakes are a significant part of a wedding ceremony and a tradition that has been carried down through hundreds of years.  Today, wedding cakes can be an elaborate multi-tiered artistic extravaganza and at the same time they are a gourmet's delight.  Wedding cakes are moving away from the traditional white cake, because the cakes are being created to reflect the couples personal colors and theme of their wedding.
